Ascension to Cervino

Day 0: Meeting in Chamonix
In the afternoon we will meet in Chamonix to introduce ourselves, solve the last doubts of the program and check your technical equipment.
Day 1: Acclimatization day. Perrons traverse
Traverse of the Perrons ridge in the Lac D`Emosson area, on the Swiss side very close to the French border. Difficulty in rock of up to IVº and numerous climbs and skills with abseilings and descents of up to 25 meters.
Day 2: Traverse of the Aiguilles d’Entrevés ridge.
We will climb the Entrevés ridge to the Aguille de Entrevés. Access from Aiguille de Midi or Courmayeur and return to Chamonix.
Day 3: Drive to Zermatt and ascent to the Hörnli hut.
Cable car Schwarsee from Zermatt and 2h walk to reach the refuge of Hörnlihutte.
Day 4: Ascent of the Matterhorn
Ascent by the Hörnli ridge and descent. Drive back to Chamonix
Day 5: Extra day:
Extra day in case we have stayed overnight in the refuge on the descent.
It is mandatory for the client to bring this complete list of material at the time of starting the contracted program.
- High mountain boots and gaiters.
- GoreTex jacket and pants.
- Thick and thin Sof shell or trekking pants.
- Fleece lining (thin and thick).
- Down or primaloft jacket.
- Thermal T-shirt and spare.
- Thin thermal underwear.
- Thin and thick socks and spare.
- Thin and thick gloves and mittens.
- Hat and cap with visor.
- Sunglasses and goggles.
- Mask or Buff.
- Mountaineering backpack from 35 to 40L with holders to carry ice axes and poles.
- Classic ice axe 60cm maximum length (included in the price).
- Crampons with anti-boots compatible with the boots (included in the price).
- Harness, two safety carabiners (included in the price).
- Folding poles.
- Headlamp with battery replacement.
- Protective creams for lips and face.
- Water bottle of at least 1,5lt and isotonic salts.
- Thermos (optional).
- Climbing shoes (optional).
- Helmet (included in the price).
- Sleeping bag (shelter).
Price per person:
- 1 person 1.200€.
Include:
- Mountain guide service and advice prior to the activity.
- Reservations in refuges.
- Accident insurance.
- Guide’s accommodation in the Chamonix valley the days we sleep down.
- Guide’s ski pass in all the ski lifts in the Chamonix valley.
- Although we recommend that participants have their own equipment, this program includes all the technical equipment necessary for the ascents: Harness, crampons, ice axe, helmet, rope, screws, carabiners, first aid kit, GPS, maps, etc….
Not Included:
- Travel and internal transportation derived from the program.
- Lodging of guide and clients in lodges and your lodging in the valley during the program.
- Cable cars and ski lifts derived from the program.
- Drinks in the refuges or extra meals.
- Personal technical equipment such as backpacks, boots, technical clothing, poles, etc…
