Meeting in Chamonix and short transfer by car to the south side of the Mont Blanc tunnel. Distribution of safety equipment and we ascend to the top station of the Skywey cable car.
Putting on the safety equipment, roping up and we set foot on the glacier to begin the crossing. Gentle traverse of the Geant glacier until we reach the Col de Rochefort 3.389m where we begin the climb. Traverse the ridge in an east-west direction to the summit of the Aiguille du Marbree 3.535m and descend to the next col/gap. From here rappel of almost 25 meters to the glacier and return on foot by the same glacier to the Torino refuge. Cappuccino to celebrate the end…
Technical difficulties: Climbing and easy climbing on mainly rocky or mixed terrain up to IIIº and rappel/rope descent of 25 meters at the end to set foot on the glacier.
- High mountain boots and gaiters.
- GoreTex jacket and pants.
- Sof shell or trekking pants.
- Fleece lining (thin and thick depending on the weather).
- Down or primaloft jacket.
- Thermal T-shirt.
- Inner thermal tights.
- Thin and thick gloves.
- Hat and cap with visor.

- Mask or Buff.
- Mountaineering backpack from 35 to 40L with holders to carry ice axes and poles.
- Classic ice axe 60cm long maximum.
- Crampons with anti-boots compatible with the boots.
- Harness, two safety carabiners.

- Protective creams for lips and face.
- Water bottle of at least 1,5lt and isotonic salts.
