Day 1: Refugio del Postero Alto (1900 m) – Laguna de Vacares (2885 m).
From Postero Alto we begin our ascent to the first three thousand: Puntal de Juntillas. We continue along the mountain range towards Puntal de Vacares (3,182 m), where we descend to the Laguna de Vacares to spend the night in a bivouac.
Day 2: Vacares Lagoon (2885 m) – Poqueira Refuge (2500 m).
We head northwest towards the Alcazaba (3,366 m), we go down to Siete Lagunas and from here we continue our march to the Poqueira Refuge, where we will spend the night on a half-board basis.
Day 3: Poqueira Refuge (2500 m) – Mulhacén (3482 m) – Carihuela (3200 m).
The itinerary begins with the ascent through the dry river valley towards Cerro de los Machos and Pico del Veleta, dedicating the day to the summits of the Central sector of Sierra Nevada. Dinner and overnight in bivouac. La Carihuela or Elorrieta Refuge (depending on conditions).
Day 4: Bivouac Carihuela Refuge – Cortijo Echevarría (1955 m).
Lagunillas de la Virgen, Elorrieta (3,183 m), Cartujo (3,152 m) and Cerro del Caballo (3,013 m). We will go down the forest track in the direction of Nigüelas to the Cortijo Echevarría (1955 m). Where an all-terrain vehicle picks us up to the town. Transfer to Grenada. End of activity and farewell.
It is mandatory for the client to bring this list of complete material when starting the contracted program.
